Our office in Cherokee is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to service your needs. We also have four payment centers located conveniently throughout our service area so making payments and doing business with AEC is easy and convenient.

Prepaid Billing

Alfalfa Electric Cooperative offers Prepaid Metering as a convenient billing option for single-phase residential and farm and ranch accounts.   Prepaid Metering is an option for new and existing members.

Benefits

  • Not required to pay a security deposit!
  • Purchase electricity as you need it.
  • Monitor your energy usage.
  • No monthly bill!

 

Easy to Sign-up!

  • New members will need to complete an Agreement for Purchase of Power.
  • New and existing members will need to complete a Prepaid Metering Agreement.
  • $25 connect fee for new members.
  • $50 minimum initial prepayment balance for new and existing members.
  • Sign up for SmartHub to set up low-balance alerts and to reload your account balance.
