At Alfalfa Electric Cooperative, we believe in the power of light — not just to illuminate homes, but to transform lives and communities. On Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, we proudly participated in Shoot for the Nations, a sporting clays shooting event benefitting the Oklahoma Energy Trails Foundation.
Held at Silverleaf Shotgun Sports in Guthrie, Oklahoma, the event brought together supporters from across the region to raise funds for a vital cause —bringing electricity to communities around the world that still live in darkness. Despite advances in technology, an estimated 685 million people globally remain without access to electricity. This year, Alfalfa Electric sponsored two employee teams, joining dozens of others in a day of competition, camaraderie and commitment to global impact. For our employees, it was more than just a day on the range — it was a chance to be part of something bigger. Shoot for the Nations generates crucial funding for the Oklahoma Energy Trails Foundation’s electrification missions. These missions provide safe, reliable and sustainable access to power to underserved communities — often for the first time in their history. This year’s event carried that mission forward. Every team, volunteer and sponsor played a role in pushing back the darkness. The funds raised in 2025 will support
future Energy Trails initiatives and help bring light to even more communities in need. We are honored to stand alongside the Energy Trails Foundation and all those working to make a global difference. Through events like Shoot for the Nations, we are helping create a brighter, more connected world — one village at a time.
