Alfalfa Electric Cooperative is pleased to announce that Chelsey Guffy, Director of Public Relations and Communications, has been selected to serve as a 2026 Oklahoma Youth Tour Chaperone.
The Youth Tour program offers high school juniors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., where they learn firsthand about electric cooperatives, leadership, and the role of government. As a chaperone, Guffy will help guide and support students throughout the experience, ensuring a safe, educational, and memorable trip.
“I’m honored to be selected as the 2026 Youth Tour chaperone,” said Guffy. “This program has such a meaningful impact on students, and I’m excited to help guide them as they learn, grow, and experience our nation’s capital.”
Applications for Alfalfa Electric Cooperative’s Youth Tour program are due January 21, 2026. High school juniors are encouraged to apply for this exciting opportunity. Eligibility requirements, application details, and additional information are available on our Youth Programs page.
