Alfalfa Electric Cooperative is excited to participate in last week's Energy Camp at Canyon Camp in Hinton, Oklahoma. The annual event brings together students from electric cooperative service territories across the state for a unique educational experience focused on leadership, teamwork, and energy education.

Energy Camp provides students with the opportunity to learn about the electric cooperative industry while developing valuable life skills. Throughout the week, campers participate in hands-on activities, leadership development sessions, outdoor recreation, and team-building exercises designed to foster confidence, communication, and personal growth.

Students attending on behalf of Alfalfa Electric Cooperative had the chance to connect with peers from across Oklahoma, gain a deeper understanding of how electricity is generated and delivered, and learn about the cooperative difference. Camp activities also emphasize safety, responsibility, and the importance of community involvement.

This year's camp brought special recognition to Alfalfa Electric Cooperative. Alfalfa's own Case Littlefield was selected by fellow campers to serve as General Manager of Energy Camp, one of the camp's highest student leadership positions.

In addition, Perry Poe was elected by his peers to serve on the camp's student board. Being chosen by fellow campers is a significant honor and reflects the leadership, character, and respect Perry demonstrated during the week.

"We are incredibly proud of Case and Perry for the leadership they displayed at Energy Camp," said Alfalfa Electric Cooperative. "Their willingness to step forward, lead by example, and earn the confidence of their peers is a testament to their character and the bright futures ahead of them."
