New Employee – Stephen Cockrum

At the end of May, Stephen Cockrum began working for AEC. Although he was born in Enid, Stephen graduated from Waukomis High School. He followed his wife, Sadie, back to Cherokee. Marrying Sadie and having their son, Stanten, and daughter, Sawyer, are Stephen’s proudest accomplishments. Stephen likes to hunt, fish, and coach his children in sports. Some day he would like to go on a guided big game hunt. Stephen’s dad inspired him to be a hard worker. He worked for Bates Cattle for two years. Then he was employed by Alfalfa County, District two, for four years. Stephen is beginning his career at AEC on the right of way crew. “ One of my long-term goals has been to become a lineman.” Stephen, it looks like you are in the right place now! Please join us in welcoming Stephen to the AEC family!
