AEC Services was established by the Alfalfa Electric Cooperative Board of Trustees to meet a growing need within our communities — reliable heating and cooling services close to home. What began as a solution to a shortage of HVAC providers has expanded as member needs have evolved. Today, AEC Services proudly offers HVAC, licensed electrical services, and cellulose insulation across northwest Oklahoma and central Kansas.

Meet Thomas Wessels — AEC Services Contractor/Manager
Born and raised in Cherokee, Thomas Wessels leads the AEC Services team with a strong connection to the communities we serve. With hands-on experience in HVAC and project management, he ensures every job is completed with professionalism, safety, and care.
Thomas and his wife, Adrienne, are proud to raise their family — son Jake and daughter Blakely — right here at home. His deep local roots drive his commitment to serve members like neighbors, delivering reliable comfort and trusted service across the area.

Scott Schmidt brings valuable experience and a strong commitment to quality to AEC Services. With previous roles as a Journeyman Electrician at Harmon Electric and co-owner of S&H Electric, he knows what it takes to keep homes, farms, and businesses running safely.
A Ringwood native, Scott and his wife Michelle are raising their 3 children — Madison, Palin, and Tugg — in the community they love. When he’s not on a job site, he enjoys farm life, family time, and cheering on local teams.
Scott’s dedication to serving others makes him a great fit for AEC Services and the members we proudly support.
